I am officially a Texas A&M Former Student! Carly and the family came up for my graduation ceremony this past Saturday. I am about to begin my career working in the Houston area and am thrilled to spend more time with Carly.
We'd like to thank my friend Molly Jodeit and her family for sharing their experience and giving us guidance throughout this process. Carly, as always, has been a trooper, smiling the whole way through. Please continue to remember her and bring her joy and laughter.
Over and out,
Clayton
Howdy Carly!! My mom left a comment on your blog last week. We were in some waiting rooms together during my last visit to MDA. Yes, I'm that crazy blog stalker...
ReplyDeleteI think we noticed y'all because of the huge support system you had around you. We know firsthand that kind of support comes from Jesus! When I drew my crowd two years ago, Dr. Anna Franklin was one of the doctors who took her precious time to help me figure out the best treatment option. I know you are in great hands!
Also, I know you feel like an alien in all those waiting rooms. I did. I felt really young and I was 39!! lol
I just wanted to encourage you to never underestimate what God can do. He surprised us daily during my treatment. When I saw you at MDA I was celebrating my 2 year milestone!! Now I just have to return every 4 months for scans!!! I don't think my doctors ever saw that happening... But God has a bigger plan for me. And for you, a plan of hope and a future (Jer. 29:11)
Is. 41:10 was my self-proclaimed motto for 2010, I especially love how it reads in The Message. Little did I know all that year would hold for me and my family.
Know this fellow Aggie and sister in Christ is praying for you daily.
